To be there for all of you

While we try to teach our children all about life, they teach us all what life is about.

Take care of your joy and your laughter!
Get rid of those that keeps you down.
Treat your body and mentality and reach for your goals.
Love those who deserve it, and ignore those that make you hurt.
Once you have done this, and found yourself,
then begin life and happiness

Six paths to a good life:

To hear the positive things being said - rather than the negative.
Notice what is being done - instead of what can not be done.
Remember the good moments - do not save the wicked.
Provide care - not just expect to get.
Le of minutiae - not grieve over them.
Bring out the best in each other.

Life is short - the pleasures are many ...!

It is only I who is me.
Throughout the world there are no oneelse exactly like me.
There are people who have something similar to me,
but noone is put together just like me.
Therefore, everything that comes out of me is true,
and mine, because I alone choose it.

I own everything about me - my body and
mind, with all the thoughts and ideas;
my eyes with images of all they behold;
my feelings, no matter what, anger, joy, disappointment,
love, excitement.

My mouth and all the words that come out of it,
polite, gentle or rough, correct or incorrect;
my voice, loud or soft;
and all my actions,
whether they be to others or to myself.

I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears.
I own all my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes.
Because I own all of me,

I can become intimately acquainted with myself.
Thus, I love myself and to be fully
Then I can make it possible for all of me
to work for my own good.

To be there for all of you

I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me,
and other aspects that I do not know.
But as long as I am friendly and loving to myself and others,
I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles
and for ways to find out more about myself.
No matter how I look and sound like,
what I say and do and whatever I think
and feel in a particular situation, it is me.
This is authentic and represents where I am right then.
When I review later how I looked
or sounded, what I said and did,
and how I thought and felt, some parts may turn out
no longer fit so well.
I can discard that which does not fit,
keep that which proved fitting,
and invent something new for it I discarded.
I can see, hear, feel, think, speak and act.
I have the tools needed to survive,
be close to others, be productive,
and make sense and order out of the world of people
and things that surround me.

I'm me and I'm okay.

I am strong when I take my sorrows,
and by them I learn to smile.
I'm  brave when I overcome
my fears and teach others the same.
I can only be loving when my own pain
does not blind me to other people's pain.
I am  truethful when I admit
the times when I wonder myself.
I'm full of life when yesterday's mistakes means
less than tomorrow's hope.
I grow when I recognize what I am.
Rather than what I want to be.
I'm free when I control myself
and do not need to control others.
I'm  rich when I do not need more than what others have.
I'm myself when I have peace
within myself for what and who I am.

Grandchildren, you give purpose and meaning to my life

Grandchildren, you give purpose

and meaning to my life.

You give me continuity and

immortality in a world yet to come.

Today, you give me joy and happiness.

I share a closeness, a special bond

like no other with you.

I hold you dearly to me…

I need you in my life.

Remember, we are family

You can count on me for unconditional love,

comfort and stability.

You fill me with the richness of life.

My legacy to you is that “I love you!”

I never expected to feel this way.

I mean, of course I knew

that I would love my grandchildren

when the day came.

After all, I am a very loving,

nurturing person.

I knew when the day came for me

to have a grandchild that

I would be blessed and that

I would feel elated.

But I never expected to feel

a love as deep and as strong as I do

I love my grandchildren

more than my life.

They make me so happy when

they arrive.

My grandbeauties have taught

me that sleep, glasses,

and things can be replaced

But love, unconditional love

bestowed with giant hugs and sloppy kisses…

Never.

My grandchildren offer me insight,

eye-openers, and heartburn.

They also give me pure and

unconditional love.

Miracle of miracles.

You are my grandchildren.

Grandchildren who will

go forward into a time that I ' ll never see…

a time that possesses wonders,

excitement, struggles and challenges.

How can I help you prepare

for a life that would dazzle

my mind today?

Grandchildren, my grandchildren,

I offer my guidance,

caring and love for as long

as my life will go,

beyond that time I can only

be remembered in your mind

carried forward within your heart”

as you meet the days

that stretch ahead.

I LOVE YOU ALL

Friends for life

Friends for life

Life is not easy for everyone.
Give something of yourself to others

It will help, I'm sure
For many, it may mean not to fall.
Pride and reputation will not change.

Do you reach out?

To meet the difficulties and bad things,
look at it as a challenge.
What is unique about you,

is that who you are,
others may need you right now.

Do you reach out?

Think of each other and show that you care.
Ask: "How are you?
Do you need help?

Yes I ' ll be there.
To give a hug, to share with feelings.

Do you reach out?

Summer and heat,
cold and winter.
It is the contrasts that life brings.
Do you have a friend to talk to?

Do you listen to your friend?
Then their life has taken wings.

Do you reach out?

Do not be afraid to share your grief,
it is much more dangerous to collect it in a basket.
To speak and say what you think,
it's part of life now.

Show you feel, and smile often.
A friend is there even before needed.
Do you reach out?

Life is the time you live in now,
live it and use it,
and think that:
"There is so much you can do

So much love to share.
So many smiles and laughter to show
So do something now."

Do you reach out?

Happy 36th anniversary

I nodded yes and smiled,
When he asked me for a dance,
Together, then, we twirled away,
Like a story book romance.

Iwas winsome; he was handsome,
We were in love and young,
"Will you?" he asked. "Yes," Isaid,
Then our two lives became as one.

The world was our oyster,
And as our dreams became combined,

Both gained more inspiration then,
And both lives were more defined.

In keeping with eachother's plans,
Bouncing babies soon appeared,
Our children, welcomed joys,
Beloved, and blest, and dear.

Parenting, not always easy,
But with rewards beyond compare,

And every child proved to be
Fulfillment of their prayers.

Our gift of love we had to share,
By thought`s, or word, or deed,
Actually, all ways were used,
There were so many needs.

Our kids Always ready - ever there,
"No" was not a word they knew,
Only "Who," and "Where," and "When,"

"How may we help? What can we do?"

Now, to our thirtysix years of marriage,
And our forty years of love,
We've added the forty years of love
To each other like our service
To our Love Ones.

Happy 36 th my loveLooking back through the years,
we have shared so much.

The little secrets,
that only our hearts know.
That has never been told.
For these little secrets
are ours to hold,
in a special place of our own.

The sharing of a gentle hug,
that always warms the heart.

The times we have laughed,
and the hours spent talking,
brings back some wonderful memories.

Remembering a kind or funny word
that only the two of us share,
puts a smile on my face.

In total silence,
never needing to say a word.
Seems we always knew,
what each other was thinking or feeling.

My love, you'll always be
my special ray of sunshine,

that warms my heart
with so much love.

Thank you,
my love for sharing these wonderful memories,
that will last a lifetime.

You, my love,
will always have
my heart!

Before I Go

Before I Go...

When my life has reached its very end,
And I take that final breath;
I want to know I've left behind,
Some "good" before my death.

I hope that in my final hour,
In all honesty I can say:
That somewhere in my lifetime,
I have brightened someone's day.

That maybe I have brought a smile
To someone else's face,
And made one moment a little sweeter
While they dwelled here in this place.

Lord, please be my reminder
And whisper softly in my ear ...
To be a "giver," not a "taker,"
In the years I have left here.

Give to me the strength I need,
Open up my mind and my soul
That I might show sincere compassion,
And love to others before I go.

For if not a heart be touched by me,
And not a smile was left behind ...
Then the life that I am blessed with,
Will have been a waste of time.

With all my heart, I truly hope
To leave something here on earth ...
That touched another, made them smile
And gave to my life ... worth.

Funny little lady

She sings Christmas Carols in July
"He is risen" in December,
Funny little lady,
Who no longer can remember.

What did she do this afternoon?
Or just the day before?
She can't recall. Is it important?
My dear, whatever for?

A forever smile on her face,
Not a worry line in sight,
The features of a trusting child,
Her eyes feverishly bright.

She sings softly to herself,
The songs of yesteryear,
She makes up the missing words,
No problem there, my dear.
She laughs a lot and giggles, too,
Which reveals a childish dimple,
But folks who are intolerant,
Scoff and say she's "simple."

A happy little lady,
Who spends hours by herself,
Feels no need for entertainment,
Or for company or help.

Fancy clothes are not of interest,
Nor are the latest styles,
If ice-cream drips upon her dress,
She says, "Oh my," and smiles.

She ignores the wars and mayhem,
That fukk-up the daily news,
She's been there and she's done that,
She's already paid her dues.

Rain or shine - it does not matter,
With her, either way's okay,
Not a thing disturbs her,
"Tra La La," she's on her way.

One day, though, she disappeared,
She simply was not there,
People asked the police for help,
She was not anywhere.

Did they find her? Yes they did,
Was she all right? She was,
They found her at The Pancake House,
The place was all abuzz.

She'd ordered stacks and stacks of flapjacks,
And was ready to dig in,
When her worried daughter found her,
She just smacked her lips and grinned.

Funny little lady,
Marching to a different beat,
With a smile on her face,
Shuffling tired, little feet.

No aches, no pains, and no complaints,
She's happy night and day,
And, yes, God has His eye on

OUR WONDERFUL CHILDREN

Our Wonderful Daughter

Our Wonderful Son

A Question of Love

A Question of Love

We often ask the question of ourselves
"What is this feeling that we call love?"
Is it true that we all have a soul mate
Predestined by God in Heaven above?

Does it show up when least expected
When across the room you see a smile?
Or does it grow at a snails pace,
Between friends, where it takes awhile?

Does it suddenly appear like a raging storm
Where thunder and lightening abound?
A storm over which you have no control.
Where peace and quiet can't be found?

Or is it more the gentle rain of spring,
And your whole world feels fresh and clean?
Can love flourish in those not so young,
Or just felt more strongly only as a teen?

There are times it's a roller coaster ride.
At least that is what I have been told.
With exciting peaks, frightening descents,
An encounter unnerving even to the bold.

Love can become an uncontrolled fire,
Burning deep within our very soul.
With passions wanting to be fulfilled,
Needing each other just to feel whole.

Love can also be gentle and soothing,
Full of kindness and heartfelt caring.
The touch of a hand brings peace with it.
And a life together fed daily by sharing.

Love should not hurt, but, best by far,
You are not only lovers, but, friends
Passion may simmer, romance absent,
The kind of love that lasts, never ends.

No turmoil, none of the ups and downs,
A life of contentment, peace above all.
Then, when something separates you,
Only happy returns will help you at all.

Waiting for someone to help.

Waiting for someone to help
 But no one comes
 So she is sitting ...
 She walks around every day
 Pretend that all is well
But inside she is fighting a bitter battle
As she knows she will lose ...
She would like to ask for help
 But pride is too great
 She will manage all alone
Although she knows she will not manage it ...
So once again she sits alone
 The chaos inside her grows
 She protects herself, rejects

Min side på Youtube

Let us reach out to someone who is in need

Missing something, alone. It's no fun being lonely.
Feels like a big hole that gets filled up.
Loneliness surrounds us all.
It is everywhere, you do not notice it until you are alone.
The urge within you to meet some friends,
do something socially grows, but you can not find anything.
It is quiet, just like in a trance.

You can not turn the radio on. Will not be a bother
Missing something, is great, but you do not do anything.
It's like being sucked down a hole, it is quiet and the time has stopped

Being lonely is like being in another world, you were
there once and you can not do anything about it. You will be sucked up.
You can not attach threads, communicate.

You can not have anything to worry about, like for real.
You will not be part of something or someone.
You only are there, no good feelings.
No real friendships.
Never with, behind, in front, but never, never included.
You are called, you answer, nothing more

Loneliness is the feeling you feel when you are not included
and feel that you are not a part of something.
If the "overrun" and definite over.
You are there as all the others, but "nobody cares"
about you or is interested in you. Do you feel.
You feel invisible and unimportant.

At times it can seem as if you do not exist
and finally screams you get to get attention.
You do not get attention,
only second-term look. It did not help to scream
Now they look just weird to you and cares just as before.

I think you are mentally down

You have something you want to share with someone, but who? "No" to listen to what you have to say. No one who will receive your secret.
It stays inside you and you bow by telling it to anyone.
You're still lonely then you will get nowhere.
You will be chocked by the secret

Must have someone to share it with, someone who will listen,
not only because they have to, but because they want to
Loneliness takes control over you and guide you into your own world.
You talk to yourself, you answer the second,
but the important conversations are with yourself

3 vidunderlige barnebarn
